Zoo days and a family trip to Branson
Ollie and I went to the zoo with Grammy. It was a beautiful out and a nice sneak peek of the Spring weather soon to come.
He loved the seesaw!
We were outside checking out the grizzly. She was sun bathing up on a platform. We decided to venture inside to see if we could see her better. We couldn't get a great view inside, but we stood at this particular window to check out the waterfall. The grizzly bolted from sunbathing right up to the window where we stood. It scared me!!! Ollie and Leland were ecstatic and we were all able to see the grizzly up close!

Every Tuesday we head to Grandma's for bible study. We arrived early and Ollie cooked an egg with Grandma. He loved the front row view and now sometimes sits on the counter and watches me cook too.
The daffodils have already bloomed! Ollie was very curious about the beautiful yellow blooms. He picked one out and fully explored the flower by tearing it to shreds. It was super cute because it looked as if he was contemplating, "she loves me, she loves me not. she loves me, she loves me not."
Adam refinished a piece of furniture that was given to us. We are going to use it as our entertainment center at the new house.
This picture begins our trip to Branson! We stopped at the Missouri welcome center off of I-44. It was rainy so O didn't get to play on the playground there, but he ran around inside. At one point he waved hi to several people exiting the bathroom.
We made a couple stops on the way so we could get out and stretch our legs....Or mainly so O could take a car break. He doesn't enjoy sitting still and doesn't sleep very much in the car. We made our way to an indoor playground. Adam went up to the top with him a couple times and slid down. Super fun!
We stopped in at Krispy Kreme in Branson. They weren't making donuts, but O didn't seem to mind. He was thrilled to explore a new place and see the big donut making machinery.
We did a lot of this in Branson. Relaxing. Kicking back. Phone time. Family time, Good times.
Ollie came out of the trip with a few battle wounds.
There were a couple different playgrounds at the condos we stayed in. We finally had some sunshine and O was able to take full advantage of outdoor playtime. He loved going down the slide with Daddy. Looks like Daddy enjoyed it too!
On the way home we stopped at another play place to stretch! O was a little more comfortable here because it was a bit smaller. He went down the slide several times.
He attempted to crawl up the slide a few times as well.

The very next day we were able to venture to the zoo again with Grandma, Aunt Misty, and Leland. They had just opened the newly renovated buildings. We stopped in first at the grizzly bear exhibit.

We did a little relaxing on the couch together as a family one Saturday afternoon. I'm sure this moment didn't last but a couple minutes. Ollie doesn't sit still for too long. He is busy, busy, busy!
