One year after O's birth and I am finally sending in for his membership to the Cherokee Nation tribe. Woot! This is an important part of our heritage and am so glad to finally be making it official.

We have been working to finalize paperwork on our house, so Grammie came over to watch O. She took him on a wagon ride around the block. We went and signed papers for a couple hours with the bank....that's right, we signed papers and talked about said papers for 2 HOURS! Hello date night....Ha!
O is loving the vacuum cleaner these days. I'm glad because we are vacuuming often with all of the snacks that are scattered around the house!
I would also like to document all of the words O is saying right now. His vocabulary is much larger than I thought it would be at 12.5 months. Without further ado: dada, mama, ball, throw, dog (followed by barking - it is the cutest woof, woof ever), "there it is", hi, bye (waving along with it), uh-oh, up, down, and go.
